THANK YOU to Far Out for giving us another chance to get hold of some vintage Global Communication. If this version was 60 mins long, I would not get bored hearing it. Proper. I'm enjoying the original too. Nice.

Pressing is very solid, and the G.C. mix sounds loud and full. I have the original pressing, and while that one sounds just fine, this thicker 180 gram version just sounds cleaner and more rounded. My only gripe is that it comes in one of those awful euro paper inner sleeves that mark the vinyl right from the start. I'll never understand why labels go to the trouble remastering and reissuing records, only to stuff them into a static-y, crap inner sleeve. A disappointment. Also, the songs play at 33RPM even though the label says 45RPM. I recommend picking this one up all the same!
