Recorded on January 29th in 1983.

Released in a fold-over paper cover.

The release number appears as fish2 on the back cover and center labels, and as FISH 2 in the runout etchings.

Tracks A2 and B1 were written in 1980.
Tracks B2 and B3 were written in 1981.
Track A1 was written in 1982.
There is a silent lock-groove between tracks B2 and B3, and track B3 is not mentioned anywhere on the release.

This version of this release is very similar to the version Evolution but without ridges. The vinyl is almost exactly the same except there are no raised ridges around the center labels.

Pressing plant information was derived from the runout etchings.
