Crackles and pops.. skips every few seconds. Unplayable. Not sure if i have a defective copy but im very disappointed

Don’t know if I got a defective copy or not but I can’t agree with most reviews here pops and crackles after multiple cleanings far from what other reviewers are saying. Sure it’s got better dynamics than the NWN! release but it’s overpowered by surface noise. All that being said I’d rather get the NWN release it has the better presentation and less surface noise even on a picture disc.

Edited one year agoThe sound quality is okay but sucks because there’s popping and crackling the whole time and it sometimes overpowers the music itself. It also has big white markings on it that will not come off.

Edited one year agoI love the simplicity of this KVLT release, a single jacket with an insert. The sound quality is OK, you will get clear sound and you will enjoy it but I would like more massive sound, maybe some new mix for Vinyl can sort that problem. Anyway, it is a decent release of this absolute classic!

Just got this and it sounds incredible. Very happy with this pressing and highly recommend to any fans of the band or newcomers like me who like this bizarre out there sound.

Damn, this is one of the best sounding records out there. Great dynamics with deep and thick rich sounding bass as this album should sound. You can hear every instrument, no flows with record.

Can somebody comment how it sounds compared to 1st and 2nd vinyl pressings or the first cd pressing ? is it any good ?
