This is his best album since Darkness on the Edge of Town. That's how highly I regard this album. Moonlight Motel is a instant classic. Not a bad song on this masterpiece

Where is the US LP pressed? The EU one is pressed at GZ Vinyl in the Czech Republic. Is the vinyl in the US version differently sourced? Any info from the deadwax would be helpful.

An excellent pressing, great mastering to vinyl, and a great Springsteen album-- but nothing like his older material-- this has deliberate pop vibe with a full string section and and big wide open arrangements. Artists need to try new things and IMO this experiment was a success. Best album he's released in years...

Edited 5 years agoI've tried, but I just can't get into this album. Love Springsteen but this whole album is a little bland. Not a fan of the album's tone and the horns. Nothing really sticks out on repeated listenings. I thought this might be similar to Devils and Dust or Nebraska but nowhere near.
The vinyl was clear until the last track. Quite a few pops and some weird anomalies there. Judging by the barcode I got an American pressing from Amazon and not the European one and I live in the UK. I bought into all the early glowing reviews but this album is not for me. Probably send it back and get Tunnel of Love. The writing is superb on that and i never tire of listening to it.
