Notes
This is the very first UK issue, available for just a few weeks and identifiable by:
- Black labels with gold print. Later pressings from mid-1963 onwards had black labels with yellow print and a revised label design.
- "Dick James Mus. Co." publishing credit on tracks A1, A2, B4 & B6. Subsequent issues credit Northern Songs instead.
- The "Photo: Angus McBean" credit on front cover was printed at the extreme bottom-right corner, starting where the 's' of "songs" end (see images). On later sleeves, this credit is printed approximately 1cm further to the left, aligned with the 'g' in "songs".
Other UK black/gold label mono variants:
Please Please Me: crossover pressing with Dick James on Side A and Northern Songs on Side B. No additional pressing ring.
Made in Gt. Britain.

Edited 2 years agoAnyone know which copy my "Introducing the Beatles" is?
The vinyl is feels kind of thin like a 70s pressing.
The cover has a STEREOPHONIC strip and SR 1062 next to it in the right corner, similar to this jacket - https://i.discogs.sitioby.com/ksOLPlSi6dyzdiJOIglk4c1zCrkgOhZw9h-wrC90KV0/rs:fit/g:sm/q:90/h:600/w:599/czM6Ly9kaXNjb2dz/LWRhdGFiYXNlLWlt/YWdlcy9SLTEwNzYz/NDA4LTE2NDI0MTg5/MTYtNDYyMi5qcGVn.jpeg
Side 1 & Side 2 labels and deadwax have:
63-3402
63-3403
VJLP-1062 on label, both sides.
The label looks very similar to this, But with "The Beatles" under the spindle hole - http://www.yokono.co.uk/collection/beatles/usa/lp/lp_images/non_capitol/vj/intro2_mono1_column_oval_side1.jpg
& White VJ logo at the top, like this - https://i.pinimg.com/originals/19/d5/b5/19d5b51719aeb977654032fb5bf4f14f.jpg
No Stereo indicator on the label and "side 1" sits right on the edge of the ring.

I am confused. Why is "Introducing The Beatles" Listed under "Please Please Me". I do not see much resemblance except they have similar songs. But so do a lot of other Beatle albums like the U.S. Capitol albums. If someone knows can you please explain? Thanks much!

I've got a version (but no outer sleeve) of PMC1202 that has Side 1 in silver vinyl, but can't find this variant. It has a black label with Parlophone word and logo in yellow Anyone know what this is?

I got a copy of Introducing the Beatles. george casts no shadow, so it's obviously counterfeit. Is this worth anything?

Can anyone please help me? I have a version I believe to be a 1963 pressing. It's black and yellow, MONO, printed by Ernest J. Day without the small 33 1/3 RPM. However, on the front cover in the bottom left-hand corner, there is a greyish '1' I can't find any versions of with this on? Does anyone know anything about this?

Why is Introducing part of this master? Different track line ups (2 of them!) and completely different artwork
