"Written & produced in the late summer of 1992 on the MPC-60 - JD800 & W30. The haunting square wave melody in the intro came to me in a dream which also inspired the piano line."

Edited 3 years agoTo think on Kiss Fm in London back in 1992 you could hear stuff like this dropped in the middle of the day - people forget how good and still like a pirate Kiss FM was from legalisation in 1990 till the mid 90s.

Sometimes I think we get obsessed with B-Sides more than due because it is s underground & we lve to be special / have a different opinion. But all I can say HERE that "Obsessed 2" has been getting my love even mmore frequently than the A-Side. A dark classic for me, and it has a lot to do with the fact that unlike many hardcore tunes, this one is just - unique. Sounding differnt, deep, .. -
Personally this version in my favourite. The production level is so good . It's not as hard as the others . But depends on your preference -
The best out of the series imo and one of my all time favourite hardcore tracks. The mix of energy and drama is euphoric and the production is excellent! -

Obsessed II (Pictures of Silence) is one of the best tunes of its genre, very complex and well thought out; whereas Trip II The Moon (Kaleidoskopiklimax) embodies all that was great about the trio, fast, driving beats and plenty of euphoria! -
quick neat and tidy beats,ultra clean production.this is what i call a driving tune,wicked to mix with,and speed down the m25 with,beware speed cams,like the others said this is a bad bwoy tune,best of the trilogy i think..big tune.5/5
