This pressing is fantastic. Probably the best mastered and pressed record in all of Yugoslavia. The vocals are clear, and the bass is perfectly balanced. Not too much, and not too little. Amazing, just amazing. -
The leader and almost exclusive songwriter of the group Azra, Branimir Štulić nicknamed Džoni, had not been content by the Yugoslav rights society SOKOJ after the first two albums - he was always stating that the rights societies in Yugoslavia were taking too much at provisions from the author they should protect and earning much of extra profit on that way - and for that reason ed his own publishing company Azra Music, that should protect the author, interpreting and playback rights over the Azra opus. Filigranski pločnici is the first album that cares copyright by Azra Music, SOKOJ should have been disappeared from album covers and labels. For some reason, SOKOJ does appear somewhere - e.g. on every LP centre label, on some cassette labels and on CDs (appearing on no cover or booklet).
