Great Stuff indeed. So much to discover on this compilation and wish Light in the Attic releases were easier to get in Europe. -
Absolutely beautiful compilation, might be my favourite compilation of all time. Incredibly soothing and peaceful material, packed full with gems. -
Love this collection. Have it on vinyl, too, for the two extra tracks. Honestly, though, I prefer this to the vinyl version for the very basic reason that I don't have to keep changing sides every ~20 minutes. The uninterrupted flow absolutely works better for ambient music. And since there are no streaming versions of the full vinyl album, this is the closest thing to getting that background music feel.

An outstanding collection of ambient music. I found this compilation in the public library in Stockholm. Intrigued by the architecture shown on the cover, I checked it out and took it home to listen. So soothing . . . -
Edited 6 years agothis is honestly just amazing. possibly the best release on LITA in ages. i can't comment on the 3xLP quality since i opted for the cd version, but *everything* is impeccable. the curation, the bios, the essay, the artwork, the packaging... and the music! if, like me, your youtube algorithm started spitting this kind of music out at a rate that was impossible to keep up with, this compilation dilutes it down for you to the absolute finest, while offering the added bonus of what youtube cannot - a bit of much-needed history and context. just quality all around, do not miss. an essential springboard to start exploring this uncanny little bubble of musical history -

This like past compilations is going to be revolutionary as there was so much music from Japan in the electronic/new age style that was never made available to the general public in America. Having become ear-timately acquainted with Hiroshi Yoshimura via Sona Gaia i.e. Narada releasing his Green album in the 80s I very much look forward to obtaining this gem with artists from across the Pacific. -
