this is the best version of speak now you can spin. i have owned the standard and US RSD version and this EU version wipes them out in of sound quality. you can hear her vocals clearly and the instrumentals are very rich sounding! yes the color is a little lackluster but i have taken a liking to it now! (it reminds me of sweet tea lol) definitely worth picking up if you want to hear speak now in all it’s glory 💜💜 -
Very curious on the sound quality of this? I’ve come across two copies of the US grey/clear pressing and both had significant surface noise on side A (both copies were brand new) I’m after a brown one but I wonder if it has the same sound problem? -

Back when I first bought this record, I wasn’t a huge fan of the color — but now I actually adore it! It’s super unique and matches the label well, even if it’s not as colorful as the cover. It looks beautiful held up to the light and when it’s spinning on my colorful LP60 turntable! -

I'm surprised to see the comments here regarding the colour of this pressing. I really like the European colour - it's supposed to be a 'smoke' vinyl and I think the European pressing encapsulates that a lot better than the US one! It feels more like a murky foggy grey to me than a brown. -
Edited 5 years agoCan someone tell me if all copies of this European release are brown? I’m after one of the clear/grey pressings but I don’t want to risk getting another brown if they’re all the same. If so I may have to try and get hold of a US copy. -
Edited 5 years agoSeriously, the colour of this pressing is just horrible; I don’t know how much variation there is but mine is a murky canal/river brown. I can’t believe it for such a bright colourful album. ANYTHING would have been better, why couldn’t it have been clear even? God knows what the thinking was behind it.
