Incredible album, its a rich experience from beginning to end. Entire first disc is probably one of my favorite parts of any album, ever. Going Equanimity --> Solum Ferrum --> Astrum ---> Desolate Hub is a deadly combo. I feel Desolate Hub really doesn't get talked about enough. That tom pattern just makes me overtly happy, incredibly fun song. Astrum is probably my fav track of all, fantastic play on textures. Everything from how it starts and ends is perfect imo.

Second half is great to, Frozen Surface is a grower. Icy pads are a soft spot for me. I could go on and on, but imo the entire album is solid start to finish. Excellent pressing helps also. I would say the exact same for the CD version to, no wrong way to enjoy the album.

The only thing I wish is for is a more accessible digital version. No place of purchase, CD is long out of print, and Frozen Surface has never gotten a proper version outside of unofficial vinyl rips. Can hope for a bandcamp page or something one day.

    Love this album.
