A truly amazing piece of pure 70's rock brilliance. This band had it all. Sadly, their dynamic range of styles makes it difficult to fit them into one genre which has likely played a large role in why this lost gem has not yet been rediscovered. Featuring everything from classic 70's hard rock to soul/r&b to post-psych, RUBY simply embody everything great about the 70's rock sound. The songwriting is flat brilliant, musicianship stellar, and Rab Munro (ex-HATE) puts on a vocal show (check out "Someday I Will Return") that is simply brilliant. Couple this with a gorgeous production and it's really hard to dislike this album. A true gem...
