Pops and cracks during entire album, i did deep cleaning use vinyl cleaning materials, washed up, little better than before but still...I red some reviews before about pops ext but still i took a chance it is the only vinyl was missing from my Genesis collection..I will keep cleaning;))))

Excellent mix, one of my favorite albums from the Collins era. Just 4 star due to the low quality of the vinyl. Crackles, noise, lot of dirt in the surface. A wet clean was required but still the crackles remains.

Very poor audio quality compared to the original one from ‘91. Had this one first and was disappointed, sounded very dull. It was also very static, a dust magnet.
A view weeks later my local record store had the original one in stock (good price, NM). I was blown away how much better it sounded compared to this 2018 pressing.
So if you can buy the original pressing.

Just took a chance on buying this on Amazon after hearing the reviews about the surface noise. Mine is dead silent and it has a great dynamics snd soundstage. No scratches or scuffs either, perfect condition. Excellent half speed master on a classic!

a man of short words here. but this is an excellent album to any collector of Phil Collins and Genesis fan. i have played it like 8 times already and enjoying every minute.

Agree with the previous reviewer on the sibilance on hold on my heart. Interestingly, I have a lot more surface crackle throughout much of the album; side 1 and 4 ( fading lights) especially.
The mix itself is what saves this from being a 3 star review. Nice crisp highs, lows and mids.
The packaging is slightly disappointing. Would have been good to have this as a gatefold.

I have always been a Genesis fan, but somehow never had this album until just recently. I knew and really liked the normal few songs from it that most people know, but after listening to the album in its entirety, I am mad at myself for not getting it sooner, like back when it came out! Every song is great! But how is this vinyl reissue of it? It’s okay. The sound quality is quite good with basically zero background noise. The mix is pretty good all around with my only complaints being that the vocals are too subdued on a couple tracks and there is a touch of sibilance on Hold on my Heart. The main reason that I gave this pressing a 4 out of 5 stars was because the paper sleeves that they used caused permanent straight line marks on both LPs and also left a great deal of white paper specks behind that were cemented into the grooves all over that required force and an air compressor to get most of them out. These LPs will still require a wet deep cleaning to get them as perfect as they can be, but they were playable for now. Also, the edges on the LPs were very sharp and not at all uniform the whole way around. And, I believe that this is still a legitimate gripe even though it has become common place lately, but this pressing does not come in a gatefold jacket and that is always annoying when it comes to 2 LP albums. But, all in all this is a decent reissue and worth purchasing if you like the album or Genesis in general,
