Oliver Lieb at his finest and this dark monolithic trance classic is up there with the greats ;-)

My copy sounds pretty thin. Anyone else with the same problem?

it doesn;t matter what kind of electronic music we love. its all about "netherworld" and "riff", "breakdown" around 2:34.
lets trip to Netherworld. i hope its neverending journey.

Another Lieb masterpiece - the vinyl cut is the definitive version that all others derive from. The spectacular gated synth riff in the breakdown is the thing that will take you to the netherworld :)

Netherworld is an outstanding track, that features the deepest analog-synthlines, very complex synth programming and some spectacular textures, a trashed vocal sample and a rhythm that pumps like a steam machine. Songoriented build up and a nice female vocal sample round up for an all time classic, that expands the boundaries of trance by ignoring the rules and elements that todays stereotypical dancefloor progressive/hard trance tools rely on.

Netherworld (Vinyl Cut) is Oliver Lieb at his pumping best. He takes this interpretation down a more prog trance route than he usually known for. As was common back in 1997, the track begins with a breaky intro, before settling into a tough hypnotic groove. The melody is somewhat understated; instead there are cosmic/new age type synths swirls that do indeed take the listener on a journey to another world.
