I came across this record randomly at my local shop’s used bin. The cover looked super interesting so I bought it as it was going for a very low price.

Wow! This is such good pop punk/post punk music. The dynamic range, separation and clarity of the music is too damn good.

Amazing record and the history behind how the record was only a big hit in Canada is quite interesting as well.

Mock-cockney nods to pub rock from ex-Strawbs Hudson and Ford. Never released in US but 2x platinum in Canada-- a powerful imprint on this preteen spotty faced crown subject who became a pop music consumer upon punk's wreckage. Tightly crafted pastiche with whammy bar surf, joe meek tweeks, Andy Summers skankin'. A neglected cult classic of sorts.
