Creo que todos estamos de acuerdo en que cualquier versión de este disco de los 70's y 80's sonarán mejor y posiblemente se encontrarán a precios más contenidos; pero hay un problema: ¡¡¡¡¡¡encontrar una copia sin usar o mínimamente usado que no tengan sonidos superficiales tales como frituras, clips, pops etc ni estén gastados; esto estropea el sonido del disco más que una mala remasterización!!!! Respetad a todas las personas que quieren adquirir estas reediciones y que se conforman con un sonido como el de esta edición: un sonido decente y muy completo.
No se puede generalizar: ni las reediciones modernas son una mierda total, ni las ediciones originales o de los 70's, 80's son la maravilla de las maravillas y viceversa. Hay que estudiar/escuchar caso por caso.

Y por último, el precio de los discos de vinilo han subido todos: ediciones regulares, ediciones de época, reediciones de lujo etc. Esto es así.

The only mono album in my collection, and my first pressing of TPATGOD. I am always pleased to give this a spin, sounds absolutely brilliant to me and will be a gateway to further mono purchases.

I'm lucky enough to have original Mono pressing, picked it up more years ago than I care to for not much money....when second-hand records were CHEAP! This re-issue is pretty good, not quite giving you the 'in the room with you' experience of the original. I hate the envelope sleeve, but that's my problem. Not heard the 'Nice Pair' in Mono so can't comment on how good that set is, but generally speaking any LP pressed in the 70's or 80's will sound better than most modern 'remasters'.....Remastered does NOT mean 'better' most of the time to these ears.

I don't care how good this sounds, until they recreate the flipback like the Beatles mono ones, you can count me out.
The printed on one is a goofy looking gimmick.

Why is the price going up on this edition??? There are hundreds out there and it's an edition o 15,000! for gods sake.

This reissue makes me very happy. Finally an affordable quality MONO reissue of this legendary album.

I have this repressing. Its clean, quiet and flat. Interesting to listen to the album in mono after only ever having heard it in stereo. I also have the recent stereo remaster and an old 1970s twofer 'A Nice Pair'. The analogue sound of the latter is sonically superior to both the remasters by some distance and since nice copies can be picked up for £20 if you are going to buy only one I'd pick up one of those. Still like to listen to an original mono (and stereo for that matter!) copy one day though!

UK HMV stores are now selling this. So much for "Limited Edition".
