Notes
Both CDs are held in a gate fold cardboard digipak which in turn is held in a firm plastic sleeve sporting Collector's Edition at the bottom. The plastic sleeve features a bar code sticker which reads: "Re-mastered studio album with bonus disc of a previously unreleased live show from the Town Hall, High Wycombe".
A black and white booklet featuring new band interviews, photos and track overviews is also held in the digipak.

The packaging on these Joy Division/New Order deluxe editions is amazing. However unfortunately the remastering is overblown and compressed. These are worth owning for the live material and packaging but seek out the original CD mastering if you want to hear the music as it was intended, dynamic and open.

The liner notes for the Special Edition state that Ice Age & Dead Souls were mastered at the wrong speed & that "Both these corrections will appear online in due course." Does anyone know if subsequent pressings are corrected or if the HD tracks version is @ correct speed?
