My pressing actually is pretty good quality. No warping or deformations. Sound quality is also very good on my pressing too. Maybe they struggled with some quality issues on this pressing, but my copy is great. -
For anyone else thrown by the singular negative review of this album im here as a secondary testimony. Sadly this record is really terribly mixed. I don't know if the other non-colored pressings are as bad, but the opening track especially was hard to listen to. Mine also came with a concave warp to it. I've been able to listen to it without skips, but that's not something you ever want to see in a record. This record however, is not unplayable. most songs sound fine, theres just a lot of big moments that are a bit of a let down with this pressing. So if you're looking for a cool version of this record and you're not too interested in sound quality, the blue pressing is for you. but if you wanna experience the album in full, don't waste your money on this pressing. -
Edited 7 years agoBruno put his heart and soul into creating a great album. It must be disheartening to the artist when whoever is responsible for the vinyl pressing completely ruins it. Absolutely horrible sound quality on this pressing in that it is completely blown out. Tracks with significant bass (try A5, "Handyman") are so blown out as to be unlistenable. They don't include a code for a decent digital version. Then there's Merchbar's poor shipping time. When you pre-order something months in advance, it should be shipped to ensure release day delivery (or before), not a week later.
