Guess I'm lucky not to have an opportunity to compare CD to vinyl because for my ears the vinyl sounds great, with little to none noise and crackles. I'm rather pleased with this pressing.

My copy is awful. Didnt get to listen to it. Both discs badly warped, the type of warp that is definitely a pressing fault. Gatefold sleeve folded incorrectly and out of line. Returned

Edited 5 years agoI have to agree with nanagno, this is disappointing. The top end is clearly flat compared to the CD with the same amp/speaker setup, which I thought was due to my cartridge. Even after getting a turntable I’ve been wanting for a while, and a higher end cartridge (540ML) than the budget cart I’ve been using, it’s clear the problems are with the pressing.
This clearly comes across as favoring the vinyl collector over the vinyl listener. Too bad. -
My pressing a little light on the lower end, but this is the recording, not the pressing, it's the same on the CD.
Wonderful reimagining of the songs though, and Amy Lee is just so utterly gifted as a writer and singer. For any fan, it's an absolute must have. The downside is that there appears to be an error on the stamper which results in some really apparent scratching/static sounds on the final side which really sucks as it interrupts "My Immortal" which is one of my all time favorites.
Issues aside, it's still a must have imho. -
Flat and quite pressing.
Sound wise though, it feels a bit compressed on the top end, and bottom end is almost muted. Can’t say that I can recommend this one, disappointing.
