Phenomenal! My copy is sumptuous in every way. The artwork is above the rest even among the most beautiful Waxwork pressings. It sounds frank and clear without the slightest pop after cleaning. Still available at Waxwork as I write this review.

These are d as being on 180g vinyl. For mine, disc one weighs 136 grams, and disc 2 weighs 130 grams.

Amazing product across the board! Gary Pullin pulls off another banger with his fantastic art, adorning a thick jacket that feels utterly .
WW apologized about the color of the discs not matching the initial mockups, but honestly I can’t tell. It nails the theme, it still looks great and most of all it sounds clean and lively. -
Just received this after a long wait, but shewww, was it worth it. I don't think I realized how much I appreciated the score until I spun this release. Sound is perfect - lively and dynamic, has oomph. The art is absolutely beautiful. As of this date, this record is still available on WW's site. Pick it up if you've been thinking about it.

People often overlook the finer qualities of the Friday the 13th series, typically dismissing all of it as artless schlock. This is unfair and untrue and there's plenty of interesting idiosyncrasies (if inconsistent) across the many films (apart from Part V, which is ALL bad). Part 3 is my favorite of all the non-zombie Jasons, is the first to feature the iconic hockey mask, and the only one in the series to be shot in 3D. Having seen the 3D version in theatres I can assure you that it holds up to modern standards.
Lost in the mix (pun intended) is Harry Manfredini's score, often neutered by endless, crackly mono soundtracks across various incarnations. This double-LP release features the best sounding release to date of his mini-epic score to Part 3, even better than the La-La Land Records from a few years back. The sound is stereo with lots of fine details coming through and superior even to the theatrical mix from 1982. The cover art is amazing and the discs too are very nice looking.
Any Jason Voorhees fan must buy this, and fans of horror scores will love Manfredini's Herrmann-esque strings and leering dread. And, obviously, the disco track featuring the new theme tune for the series is a classic in its own right.
