U Can't Touch This, MC Hammer's biggest song has the weakest remixes of his catalog, probably because they got it so right with the original album version. (The KMEL mix is the other widely available remix, and it's pretty fun.) The Club Mix here is mostly beats and vocal, with the Rick James sample removed, so it can be mixed with other instrumental backings. Dancin' Machine's Club Mix is based on the album version. I was hoping it was the re-recorded version with "Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em," but that's the Funky Club Version. That's the version that was on the U Can't Touch This 12", so you might expect it to be on the corresponding CD, but instead, they've included the mix that was on the Dancin' Machine 12". There are some audible tape edits, but there are cool moments on this Club Mix. Both Instrumentals are straight ahead instrumental versions of the original album tracks.

"U Can't Touch This" MC Hammer claims on this record. He has now been proven correct, as with the advent of online music streaming, you literally cannot "touch" the physical embodiment of the music as you could with records, tapes and CDs. How spooky that MC Hammer should predict this back in 1990, years ahead of its time. If only he had not chosen to wear those ridiculous baggy tros, perhaps people would have taken his prophesies more seriously.

The "instrumental" version on my copy is anything but instrumental.
It's more like a slightly longer version of the so called Video Mix with more of a funky beat.

Is the a really true copy that has an Instrumental Version?
