One of the few albums with genuinely bad sound quality that I listen to regularly, simply because the performances, both on the live and studio tracks herein, are absolutely incendiary. If you are a Gun Club fan then you need this record.

Super rough sound but in a way it compliments the band perfectly. Sounds like complete chaos on vinyl. The bass is chugging away super heavy while Jeffery Lee Pierce is just screaming his lungs out. Damn, the drum cymbals sound horrendous though and the sound almost sounds distorted in places. I really don't know what's going on here. That guitar tone is just so crunchy and the reverb, there is so much reverb in the vocals but every once in a while the guitar just slices through it and and really rips. Definitely on the rougher side for a live recording and kind of hard to listen to. But oh that raw energy still emanates through.
