Icehouse – Primitive Man

Hallo,
bei der gelieferten Platte handelt es sich um die falsche Ausgabe, so dass diese zurück geht. Leider wurde bei den letzten Bestellungen bei ihnen immer die falsche oder nicht den angaben entsprechende Ware versendet, Ich werde in Zukunft nicht mehr bei ihnen einkaufen.

Definitely worth a listen, especially if you’re a fan of more experimental New Wave from the 80’s. Key tracks in my opinion are; Little Girl, Great Southern Land, Mysterious Things, and Mr.Matthews.
Overall gets 2.5 jars on the Fross Sauce meter.

Terrific pressing of a landmark Australian new-wave album. Iva Davies knocks it out of the park with this release, and this recording captures it beautifully with great dynamics and punch.

This sounds brilliant, or did I get lucky with a good copy? As old as I am and sounds better!

40 years now - still just one of the best 80s records of all time!

Also no barcode.

Yes I would say first CD pressing and sold for $29 and released around 1986, CD was Made in Japan, but an Australian release.

These remasters are simply sensational. If you are an Icehouse fan, the new vinyl pressings are essential. Primitive Man was the creative high-point for Iva Davies and his band. Another great Australian group that never received the kudos they deserved.
