Taco – After Eight

I have a variant that I don't see listed with MM at the end of the runout on side A...and N on side B.

Such a great album by a hugely underrated artist! Sound is great.

I have this exact CD (variant #2) as well as the (Russian?) bootleg. I got swindled into the bootleg one and then later tracked down a copy of the real thing. I can confirm the US CD has the blue printing for the text and a blue band around the face of the disc. This disc was made in Japan for US market as there were no CD plants in the US at the time. This was among the first CDs sold in the US. Mastering is very quiet, but it's a clean and true transfer. The music/production is very much of its time but there is an undeniable charm throughout the album. I enjoy it more as a whole now than I did as a kid back in 1982/83 when I basically listened to "...Ritz" and "Cheek To Cheek" and then moved on to something else. A guilty pleasure, sure, but a pleasure nonetheless.

Does anyone know how this release can be identified from the official German release? I think I might have a copy of this Russian release based on the runout font and absence of hyphen in A2-Y but would appreciate photographic confirmation.
