Good clear sound on this reissue - Mark Kings bass where you would expect it to be. Vinyl itself is a nice flat lurid pink slab of plastic - good to have white pristine outer sleeve. Musically its fine piece of mid 80's jazz/funk/pop.

The UK version has to be the thinnest album and cover I have ever held. That being said it has a great and very dynamic sound. -

After many years sitting on my shelf, I revisited this album and yet it sounded just as great as when I purchased this way back in '85. A definite album to have from Level 42 and a timeless classic......don't get fooled by the 'wobbly' vinyl as the mastering is excellent! -

This is a great funky, British blue-eyed soul groover of an album. If you like huge bass lines and 80s synth pop along the line of ABC and Thompson Twin, the snatch it up because it sounds fantastic. -

I have this vinyl, but my album cover has the larger "Level 42" graphic as pictured here: https://www.discogs.sitioby.com/release/6609188-Level-42-World-Machine. That said, it likely got swapped around sometime in the past. Would be interesting to know more about the jacket and different sizes of the "Level 42" graphic. Edit... Vinyl is semi-translucent. It's very dark, but bright LEDs do barely shine through. -

This original CD sounds incredible and far better than any of the remasters. -
My copy is an EMW pressing and is translucent gunmetal blue when held to a bright light. Really nice dynamics on this album with some pure 80’s electronic/new wave songs. A welcome addition to my collection.

Funny how the U.S. release as 2 tracks from the previous album True Colours. It’s like the 60s when The Beatles albums were doctored for by Capitol in the U.S. -
