Original is a classic, but the Dave Clarke remix is an absolute banger, get this just for that. -
Disc 2 - slacker mix chuggs along nicely & plays with the vocals much more than others giving it a bit more interest than the more straight up techno mixes & genuinly does take you to 'another place', fave mix for me
Wave2081 - just a visual inspection of the grooves gets your attention, with 2 very distinct different sections too the track, those being a long slow atmospheric build, then the bit with beats, which are slow with a techno groove affair - nice track -

"raging anti-house activists" - the only review of this track (20 years on)
i'm afraid i can't add as many words as the previous reviewer, but good gravy, it's full of juicy, supple descriptive adjectives -

I'm not 100% certain but I think the 'moving through your system' vocal is sampled from the long live version of 'The Bottle' by Gil Scott Heron which was big on the underground dance scene/funk pirates in London in the mid-1980s. -

Edited 3 years agoI watching an interview with Red Jerry in early 2000 where he stated that it was this release that caused him to start moving away from using the stick figure artwork on Hooj releases. Apparently he thought the concept had jumped the shark when he saw the artwork on this particular release featuring a guy on a toilet - figured it had gotten ridiculous and had gone on long enough.

Edited 2 years agoDeep dark driving techno, with the catchy vocal "Can you Feel That Rhythm Movin Through Your System"
The Original Mix is my favourite, it just builds and builds layer upon layer, from the driving beats and percussion, to repetitive synth riff, then the piercing strings that come in the breakdown, track builds back up & keeps going & going right until the end. Fantastic track well worth listening too & plenty of mixes to chose from. -
Awesome tune both sides have been staple parts to house and techno sets more times then I care to count, I still play this more then 13 years after its release. Ok Lets Do It
