Great mix by Wally Brill! Demon records also did a superb job mastering these lesser heard early recordings of The Sound as they transitioned from previously known outfit called The Outsiders. Great introspective liner notes penned by Adrian Borland on inner sleeve. A must for Sound fans...raw energy, lyrics taking form and lots of experimentation trying to define their musical direction. -
Tons of energy with the dark feeling that will be the trade mark of the next two lps. Absolutely essential album for the band fans. -

Its really amazing how fully formed these homerecordings are. They are the perfect missing link between the Outsiders and Jeopardy. Really great it came out on vinyl again. Some fantastic exclusive songs here by one of the best songwriters of its time.
