Does anyone out there know where and when the live recording of "Big Daddy Of The Rhythm" on these singles actually comes from? This live recording is clearly not the same performance as the version on the "Youthquake Live" disc of Sophisticated Boom Box, which contains the entire 6th of July 1985 Hammersmith Odeon performance. Perhaps it is an encore performance, as there are two other tracks that were performed twice that night...

Dead Or Alive. Well, with the exception of this tune, along with 'You Spin Me Round' and very quite possibly 1994's 'Sex Drive' (their only decent 90's effort and it was a collaboration), their entire catalogue is somewhat expendable. However, the aforementioned exceptions are high profile enough to make stand out from their respective eras. 'My Heart Goes Bang' is an vicious electro-fuelled, six cylinder dance generator with some great rock guitar thrown in for good measure. While it does tend to sound dangerously disposable at moments, the key changes, pumping chorus, not to mention Pete Burns' flamboyant vocals, are its saving grace.
