David Bowie – Nothing Has Changed

I like this particular comp a lot. You don't see this one out there a lot. Sounds great.

This is the only Bowie album or compilation i own, single versions whatever, they are the songs as i them spewed out over the airwaves from days gone by even if they are digital remasters, you know what, i simply dont care care, this press sounds bloody fantastic, no half speed master marketing garbage, just Bowie on a collection from amazing artistry, you will either love it or some purists wont, if you are on the fence or looking for a comp lp set, get this to fill you Bowie slot, its a very high quality product package from sleeves to disc.

Just skip over this version and go for the 3-CD set.

I like this version of the cd. A similar tracklisting to the vinyl edition except the tracks have been shuffled and Dancing In The Street replaces Modern Love on this format. Surprised the vinyl edition didn't follow this one.

As a digital mastering nerd, it's interesting to note that the 3CD version clones the mastering of "Where Are We Now?" from The Next Day as mastered by Dave McNair, but the 1CD and 2CD versions use a unique mastering with about 3 dB more dynamic range. I don't think it's "un-mastered", as there still appears to be some compression evident, but the difference is still noticeable. Likewise, the radio edit of "Sue (Or In A Season Of Crime)" on the 1CD edition is more dynamic than the complete version, by about 4.3 dB. (The song itself is the same from the beginning until the 3:50 mark, where the radio edit fades out.)

Fantastic Compilation - and i think the first and only one incl. "Hello Spaceboy" feat. Pet Shop Boys!

Got this when first released . Mine has a pressing error. Labelled Side c is d and d is c . Sounds great though so never took it back.

Solid comp. Like having the single versions etc. that come on this one. Very happy with my pressing. Consistent sound across all the tracks and discs.
