My copy had no quality issues. -
Edited one year agoJust got my copy, where did the BST cat number come from? I can't find it on the sleeve anywhere, just the upc. Kevin's last name is mis-spelled on the back cover, on the cover it is spelled Grey, should be Gray!

It sounds fantastic, but it is not an easy listening! -
An excellent pick for a Tone Poet. Accessible yet endlessly interesting.
The trio format sounds fantastic. Four sides of excellent music without even one pop, click or other surface noise. Perfect pressing.

Well, this cd is not well made; all of Lovano is in the r channel. That was ok 40 yrs before this recording, when many times a different horn was on/in the other channel, but not now.
To boot, the other 2 trio have been recorded at a lower level relatively, making the r imbalance even more obvious and so, worse.
