This is erroneously called "Remix" where it should have been called "Remake". The reason for this release (besides money) is beyond me, it was good, this is certainly not better (if it ain't broke, don't fix it).
A remake is when you make a new version of an existing song, a remix is when you take all the material (master tapes, samples, and what ever else you need (I'm no sound technician) and make another version of the song but with the existing material of the original band/artist. This happens more often (I don't know if only with Italians, I guess not). (Remix), in this case this is done by the same group but "remade" not remixed, it also has a slightly but clearly difference in melody and quite different vocals. I suppose remaking is also a lot more work so why they called it "Remix" is not clear to me (but again it happened other times, I can only think of Italians now, but I guess they are not the only ones). -

The Flemming Dalum remix on ZYX is a stunning masterpiece. Once again he improved the original. He is a true master craftsman in a league of his own!

I bought both versions this version and the La Discoteca one. The dark entries sounds good, The Italien one sonuds Terrible. Some MP3's sound better then that.

La Discoteca tries hard because their version sounds terrible. Like a million times played soviet record. I know personally, i have both versions. I bought the La Discoteca version because i read that story. But i had to buy this version because theirs was so terrible.

Another great quality release on DE. Great remastering, high quality pressing and artwork, as always. Thanks Josh !

Owned and Licensed courtesy of ZYX Records - as it is written on the lyrics postcard. Seems legit to me.

What a tune, never heard this until recently, they really are some undiscovered gems going under the Italo Disco banner. Totally agree with Magic00, this track defines all that is great about the genre. Super camp rolling bassline mix with garishly bright riffs and stabs, completely naff yet completely compelling. However whats especially excellent here is the double tracked male/female vocal - Wicked, Wicked, Wicked! The sleeve Artwork is top too of course, check it out! -

"Orient Express" by Wish Key is phenomenal in all ways. Watch the video and see the cordless synthesizer drop all the zig zagged lines to this song. How's that possible? And then you realize that Italo Disco is magic! And with the crowd cheering on and the background video playing, you know that this is Italo Disco music at its best. Discomagic was the biggest label and this here is one of its biggest releases of all. The 12" cover art shows that train shuffling thru the Orient. Hot cover art indeed! Hot beats! And a song that combines male/female vocals perfectly - I love this song and you know you do too! -

One of the best italo-tracks i've ever heard. Great melody and excellent male vocals combined with a smashing beat. This is perfect listening to while you'r on a train! Classic. 5/5 -

A fantastic disco song, with an excellent melody and great lyrics. The different voices and synth melodies throughout the whole song works out great and makes this song one of the true disco classics. Together with "Last Summer", Wish Key's best song in their carriere.
