Ibrahim Ferrer – Buenos Hermanos

Amazing package. Amazing quality. Records are super flat and rock solid 180g. No idea how they can sell this one for so low. Other artists and labels would charge at least the double.

Superbe album vinyle, propre et sans bruit, bon pressage. Dynamique et entrainant. La voix sublime d'Ibrahim Ferrer colle parfaitement aux rytmes cubains: cuivres, timbales, coro et guitare ! C'est Jazzy et swing, TOP !

Wish I could agree with the previous posters, but oddly the CD version sounds much better than Ry's remix here. I've had the CD for a long time and like all.of the BVSC albums mixed by Jerry Boys, they are uniformly amazing sounding records. You feel you are literally in the room with the band and it sounds cohesive and natural. The mixes on this vinyl are thin and far away by comparison. Also sounds like less of the ambient mics were added so you lose the sense of the room. Why not just stay with the original mixes? So disappointed, but sticking with the CD. Btw- played both versions for other people and everyone agreed right away.

Really great packaging, and absolutely beautiful sounding pressing. Highly recommended.

Great 180g vinyl special edition, sound is perfect, i recommend it

I just bought it this morning. Finally, they decided to release it on vinyl, it's never too late ! 13 years later... I've been waiting so long. Fantastic recording and sound on this vinyl.
For the pressing, mine is slightly wavy. Also, there's only 12 songs compared to the CD which has 13. "Fuiste Cruel" is missing on the LP. Fortunately, they decided not to butcher the album with "Boliviana". That's an album you need to have to play for your guests for brunch time...
