Megadeth – Super Collider

I have a copy of this vinyl. Sounds very good. Instruments and vocal sounds great. I don't like listening this album on MP3, but on vinyl sound really good. ATN91R.

It is a decent pressing. Lots of music for a single vinyl but it sounds great. I haved a nice stereo separation, cannot notice the snare only being in one side. Could be an individual flaw of one single reviewer's copy. This album is certainly a good Megadeth album, but Dave should have removed Kingmaker and Super Collider, the title track. Those are really half baked weak songs. The rest is solid Megadeth songwriting. Would have been an all round better album without those two weak tracks. Feels like they wanted to quickly make an album and used all the material they had without a critical selection.

My copy sounds great, not their best album but I dig it

This was a universally hated record upon its release. It has that feeling of going back to a more radio friendly sound that Megadeth has shaken off over the previous decade of thrash metal records since 2001's The World Needs a Hero. There is a little bit of truth to that but over all this is a solid thrash metal record. There are three reasons why this record just doesn't sit right with most Megadeth fans. The albums name "Super Collider", the track Super Collider and the video Super Collider. The name and cover just screams "who cares", the song is boring and uninspiring and the video, it is really lame. Dave looks like some soccer dad with his hair tide back and should be driving a mini-van.

After saying all that. I like the song but it just comes off as lame to be Megadeths new single. The other songs are very good and do not deserve the criticism that so many have given them. But in this time with so many choices first impressions are very important and this one just screams Risk II but it really isn't.

Same edition was sent out to Cyber Army fans along with a signed front cover (all band ) and a hole in barcode on the back.

Low quality pressing, snare sits almost entirely in right channel ( bad azimuth )

My inner sleeve indicates 2 bonus tracks, whereas they don't really appear on the record. Has anyone else the same issue ?
