Stripped is a live album by the English rock band The Rolling Stones, released in November 1995 after the Voodoo Lounge Tour.
It contains eight studio recordings and six live tracks.
The studio sessions (eight recordings): on 3–5 March 1995, Tokyo and on 23–26 July 1995, Lisbon, recorded "live," i.e., without overdubs. The remaining eight tracks were acoustic studio re-recordings of songs from the Stones' previous catalogue, the exception being a cover of Willie Dixon's "Little Baby".
The six live tracks were taken from four 1995 performances (on 26–27 May 1995, Paradiso, Amsterdam, on 3 July 1995, L'Olympia, Paris and on 19 July 1995, Brixton Academy, London), at three small venues and include a cover of Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone", which was the first single from the album.

This is my FAVORITE Stones album. It’s loaded with great tracks including the cover of LARS which Mick KILLS IT with his harp playing.
This 90s Vinyl LP sounds FANTASTIC, which is an anomaly for most vinyl LPs from the 90s.
I’m so glad I bought this back in 2010 when it was $50-60 bucks. I listen to it all the time. -

Not strictly a live album (just under half of it consists of actual live recordings, in fact), but not bad. At this stage of their career, Jagger and Company needed to find some variation on the standard souvenir-of-the-tour theme, and "Stripped" represents an interesting concept even if the execution was less than perfect. The song selection could have been more adventurous (was anyone clamoring for yet another blah version of 'Angie' or 'Wild Horses'?), but nearly all of the material is listenable, and it's fun to hear the resurrection of a genuine obscurity like 'The Spider and the Fly.' Nice lead work by Ron Wood throughout the album.
Standouts: 'Street Fighting Man' (this is as close as the Stones have ever come to reproducing the strange, throbbing, uneasy sound of the studio recording) and 'Slipping Away,' a late-period gem of a ballad (with Keith on lead vocal). -
