Another example of the Gallaghers’ Beatles fandom - the photo on this sleeve is of Mendips, John Lennon’s childhood home.

Although what's the story is my favourite album for purely nostalgic reasons I still think this is oasis's anthem from the time.the lyrics are very powerful and reflect the optimism and abandon that I had at that time, all of which have been consumed by the reality of adult life.if I listen to it now I get a taste of that optimism again for a brief moment, and at that moment I'd give anything to go back and make things different.alas I cannot,so I must simply enjoy it for what is,great music.
