Best sounding version of this album by far, such a pleasure to rediscover it!
The dynamics and separation are excellent, with some details never revealed before.
Only issue is the recording material of this album that is kinda mediocre (especially that voice that is much too bright and fatiguing) but this mofi release pushes it to the limit of what it could deliver and we must praise that. -

I got an original pressing from my local record store. This album is great. It does have a few pops, but that’s music on vinyl doing what it’s supposed to do. I love this and I waited so long to get my hands on this copy. I’ve never second-guessed this but or thought to purchase any of the new releases. -
The pressing is good, and the background noise is quiet. There are no popping sounds during the playing.

The second album of the great singer is no less successful. Voice diamond, decent sound! Wish you were here! 😞 -
This is not an authentic Philippine-pressed cassette tape. The shell and its printing is different from any Octoarts related releases. The shell seems similar to a Singaporean release. The original tape (shell) seems lost and the original owner/seller combined it with a shell that doesn't have the inlay/J-Card. -
i also thought this was digitally recorded but from the info on the cd being AAD, i would say this was recorded and mixed in analog -

The sides are too long for a single disc. Make it a double 45rpm. -
I purchased this reissue at Target as I love the idea of colored vinyl and I also loved this LP when it was first released in 1988. I also recently purchased the Whitney Houston reissue in peach vinyl and I'm Your Baby Tonight in purple vinyl. All three were purchased brand new and sealed but all 3 had flaws throughout, making them all a huge disappointment. Pops and crackles, surface noise and skips on all 3 - talk about poor quality pressings!!! Probably won't be playing these on my Victrola SONOS $800 turntable much at all but can still enjoy the cover art, liner notes and seeing the Arista label against the beautiful colors.
