My copy, on the back cover , "Nothing compares 2 U" credits says:

"STRINGS, DRUMS & PIANO BY SOUL II SOUL "

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttt ????

I know Nellee was one of the producers behind Soul II Soul but on my copy there´s no mention for him.

Incredible bargain find on Discogs. I've been looking for 45's of some 80s-90s pop hits for my partner. The Whitney Houston and Prince ones were okay, but this one is jarringly good. The instruments fill the soundstage/room impeccably, and you can hear all the heartbreaking nuance of Sinead O'Connor's bel canto, emotive singing. If you love this song, this 45rpm single is really the best way to hear it.

Originally written by the late Prince (R.I.P.) this was and still is one of the best songs ever written, Sineads ion for the song and the troubles of her relationship with her Mother percolate through in the video, For me at least this song rekindles fond memories of my childhood and indeed Italia 90 Football World Cup ;)

This version has the older, pre-1990 Chrysalis white-background labels. Is there no sleeve with this one?
