referencing Life On Mars (7", Single, Solid Centre) RCA 2316
Hello, did the original 1973 single versions have the telephone ringing at the end or do they fade out earlier? -
-
I have what appears to be the exact same version as this however my runout markings are hand-etched RCA-2316-A-3E A2C & RCA-2316-B-4E A2D - any ideas why this might be as I cannot find any other versions on Discogs that are the same as mine nor any closer than this one?

aaaaaaaaaaagh! pressed way too loud resulting in audible distortion just like 2003 Ziggy soundtrack, what a wasted opportunity

As far as sound quality goes, no problems here. However, the mix for side A is significantly different than the original album version and not as good. I don't see why the people who make these sorts of decisions thought it was a good idea to put the Ken Scott mix in here. The B side is a much better cut.

This is the best song ever written in my opinion. I really can't flaw it, it fits the literal meaning of awesome!
