Rodriguez* – Searching For Sugar Man - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Sound is ok on the LITA Soundtrack, I would say my 2019 copy of Coming From Reality is better mastering tbh though.

A great pressing, very impressed with the quality of the sound.

The title lettering on the front cover comes with spot U.V. gloss and the OBI Strip from my copy has got no announcement about the film (it was printed before there was an oscar for the movie), but it says "The definitive double-LP collection from '70s psych- folk legend RODRIGUEZ". Anyone elses?

My Album of the year ! awsome. Songwriting is incredible as is the performance, and so well recorded, the LP is a nice 180g pressing.

In case anyone is wondering about the sound quality... it is excellent. Oh and the music ain't bad either.

What a great album (5.944 overall rank best ever albums) and a great pressing!

Searching for Sugar Man is the 2012 soundtrack album from the documentary, Searching for Sugar Man, containing a compilation of songs by Rodriguez from his two studio albums. As a result of the popularity of the documentary, the album climbed surprisingly high for a soundtrack album in many national album charts. In Sweden, it reached #3 in early 2013 when the Academy Award nomination was announced, and had been in the charts for 26 weeks by the time it received the award in February 2013; in Denmark it reached #18; and in New Zealand it reached #9. The album was released by Light in the Attic / Legacy records. All tracks were remastered by Dave Cooley of Elysian Masters.
