Really great copy of this must have Beatles comp. Quiet, dynamic, great mixes

Absolutely incredible vinyl. George and Giles Martin have done a remarkable job here. I'm a big beatles vinyl collector and this is the one that blows me away everytime the needle hits the lacquer. Every track just flows into the next, it's a beautiful work of art and a must buy on vinyl for any beatles fan. Trust me, you will not be dissapointed, the sound quality is tip top.

Dug out my old hard drive just to get the rip of the LOVE DVD I did years ago and color me surprised when it was only a stereo downmix. Surely it sounds quieter, therefore better than any of the tracks on the Video_TS layer of the same disc, but I wanted the cool little 3D effect my player does when playing back a 5.1 track. Oh well, beggars can't be choosers, and the sound mix otherwise is pretty good. The Beatles barely had any soundstage as most of their material was recorded in Mono, and haphazardly mixed to Stereo, it's no wonder that listening to The Beatles with one headphone has become a current year first-world problem.

The remixing effort, done by my favorite Beatle George Martin, accidentally reveals how samey most of their catalog sounds, ergo different songs laying over each other without anybody noticing. Perhaps it was one of the only legal workarounds to the plunderphonic revolution that started in the late 80s, and was a stepping stone into today's vaporwave.

Picked this up at the gift shop after seeing LOVE for the second time (AMAZING show) - paid a pretty penny for it but WOW is it worth it! So quiet that when I dropped the needle I had to double check it was in the groove. Dynamic as hell, remixes are incredible. So glad to have this!

Mirage is no more in Sin City...It is now owned by Hard Rock group from Florida...Volcano to go and become a guitar shaped hotel...Hotel to be blue and have DOUBLE the gaming floor...but the Beatles "LOVE" show will remain for the time being...This German pressed Beatles VINYL is the soundtrack for the Cirque Du Soleil show on The STRIP...It is stunning! George Martin and his son, Giles, put this rearranged package together to launch the show back in 2006... Have seen it THREE times and plan a fourth view... Meanwhile I can forever relive my VEGAS experience by listening to this classic album...

Loved this from the moment it came out. Great CD for driving to, but I'm happy I forked out for the vinyl. This is a quality product. The cover and book are excellent and it's a beautiful slab of vinyl, flat and quiet (not always the case these days). The mastering is top notch ... really sounds good to my ears. Individual instruments sound great and the separation adds to the experience. The drums in the intro to Get Back are worth the ission fee alone. Was reading somewhere that it is the only true stereo mix of 'I Am the Walrus' available on vinyl too .... don't know if that's the case. Sounds bloody fantastic regardless. A real pleasure this one.

The pressing plant would be good to know. Surprised to not see it listed.

Is this pressing a lot lower in volume than most other vinyls in your collection?

Has anyone seen a copy of the vinyl invitation send to select invited guests when the Cirque du Soleil Beatles Love show debuted at the Mirage?

I don’t have a multi chnl stereo so I can’t comment on the DVD. I think the CD sounds great. 4-1/2 to 5 stars. I love the way they have the songs mixed up and mashed together. Definitely a great pc of music you should get.
