Great production and energy. Would love to have been in the studio with Grauzone when they recorded it. Think it was done live in one take or with overdubs? Either way, what an essential record! -
Bit of noise floor waiting for the tracks to kick in,few crackles, but the songs themselves sound very nice.

Film 2 sounds soooooooo advanced for the time ! fantastic work -

PAÍS: SUIZA
Considerados como los precursores e impulsadores de la denominada "Nueva Ola Alemana" aparecida en los años 80's, Grauzone estuvo liderada por los hermanos Martin y Stephan Eicher y llegarían a la fama con su single "Eisbar" en 1981.
Luego de 10 conciertos, cuatro excelentes singles y un album, la banda pondría fin a su carrera en 1982.
Eisbar, de corte "cold wave minimalista" vendió más de 600 mil ejemplares a semanas de ser lanzado por el sello "Off Course Records".
El single fue lanzado en realidad en un compilado suizo llamado "Swiss Wave" en 1980.

Edited 4 years agoOk. I never was aware of this. The most amazing song from Grauzone on a 45bpm b side: film 2. Today I had the luck to find it quite cheap on the flea market. Their masterpiece in my point of view. Therefore the track has much more dynamic as on their first album. I am delighted .

I am wondering if I got a bootleg from Eisbær, 12", RE, WRWTFWW041 because vocals are constantly popping.
Also I am not knocking WRWTFWW. Just saying my copy is not as high of quality as I expect from what I paid. -
I have this release with the blue labels but there is no text on the blue label of side B except for the usual circular text "all rights of the producer etc etc etc...". -
I confirm: this reprint is giant, awesome sound quality and really happy to found (again) these 3 iconic tracks within a 180 grams vinyl! -
Fantastic item. Great remastering with perfect sound. A must to buy:-)
