In reference to the variant. This 1990 Cinram is close to this, Leonard Cohen - I'm Your Man, but the Japanese edition has more weight.

On the first verse of Tower Of Song before he says “I’m just paying my rent in the tower of song”, you can hear him take a breath. That moment, especially so on this pressing, does something magical to my spirit.

These are the reasons and this is the method to get there. Highly recommend picking up this truly fantastic copy.

I gave this album a solid cleaning right out of the shrink wrap. Sounds incredible. Full dynamic range and Leonard’s vocals are hypnotic.

Love this album. So glad that I finally have bought it for the collection. I love the 80's synth and bass lines in this album

Does anyone on here know what year this pressing is?

A real comeback effort from the mid-career, although I think he hoped to never come back and make more albums in the 2000’s if he was not robbed of funds.

This album has some of the more famous cuts like tower of song and everybody knows but if you follow the words there are a lot of real winners on this album. The production has that classic 80’s vibe

Leonard's voice is so strong and clear...
This is by my opinion one of his best albums ,if not the best.

Superior sounding edition. Compared to an early U.S release, this Canadian release, Leonard Cohen - I'm Your Man, and the Vinyl Classics edition.
