Opeth – Still Life

Could anyone tell me where to find the 2nd pressing? Is it on Opeths Omerch site?

My copy of the 2nd pressing seems fine. The mix overall isn't great, though. Guitars tend to dominate at the expense of the bass. Beautiful art for a classic record.

Good sounding pressing, don't have the first press of this version that is supposed to be awful, but I don't have any issues with my copy. Sounds about on par with my 2012 pressing

As others have mentioned, it seems as though the first pressing of this has pretty major issues with surface noise. I was only able to get through The Moore but the noise floor at the best moments was very high and at worst multiple pops and crackles per second. I emailed peaceville and within 12 hours they responded asking for a receipt and mailing address and stated they would find a replacement copy. Obviously, I can't speak to how long that will take since I just started the process, but I will try to update once I've gotten a replacement. If what people are saying is true that there is a 2nd pressing that's without issue and peaceville is promptly replacing problematic copies, I would say it's being handled well and is worth taking the risk in purchasing. The packaging and appearance of the records are great otherwise.

Received a 2nd. pressing variant of this with a different deadwax/runout that corrects the signal overload/distortion, especially on side A. The new runout doesn't have the "2l", but "+l" instead. On the back of outer cellophane protection there's a golden sticker saying "2nd. pressing". The label itted worn out metal plates.

I received a replacement from the label (Snapper Music), with a '2nd pressing' sticker on the back that is much much better.

Decent amount of noise on the first disk but otherwise sounded good.

Aften reading about all the issues here, there must be something wrong with this pressing. Sad since the cover art is very good. Hope Peaceville have the balls to press another. This is a « Get the money back» situation. Also for Peaceville.

Great pressing with no clicks and other noises. One LP was a bit warped but with no effect on playback. Super happy with this!

anybody know why this press of the vinyl is ONLY being sold in Europe? I've been wanting to buy it as of late but Opeth's O Merch shop and Peaceville's site still has it in the UK with shipping costs are abysmal. And is it even worth it considering I keep seeing posts of it being awful?
