I've just managed to grab a CD in a perfect condition for a reasonable price.
This album is amazing from start to finish, banger after banger after banger.
I love how BC pushed the techstep sound into such quirky, strange, even psychedelic direction here.
      I find it very creative.
The only downside of this album is the fact it's not a typical for that time 2 CD release.
      It's such a pitty...
Just imagine having a second CD with all the tunes unmixed, that would be perfection :)

A very rare cd which i managed to get hold of back in the day. I believe a few of these were sent as a promo to a limited number of record shops prior to the official release. No idea why this was not officially released on cd (we got the mix instead) as the tunes are great.
This has now been digitally released but tunes like 'Thin air', 'Rage' and 'Chain of Thought' remain unreleased in digital format.

A great album from Bad company at their very prime.

Despite what the liner notes say, that head with the BC logo in it is mine.

Surprised there's so many people slating this album. I much prefer it to their first one. Yes, the quality of the first is probably higher, this one seems to be aimed more at the dancefloor.. But the Nitrous remix blows the original out of the water with its killer drop, plus Crucafixion and Infinity are just monsters

This is NOT 45rpm. 33 1/3rd for sure. Once I get on a desktop I will edit the release

Everyone rants and raves about Inside the Machine, but it never grabbed me like Digital Nation did. From the smooth psychedelic nature of the titular track right down to dance floor monster that is Son of Nitrous (sorry jungle snobs, but it is a better tune than the original and you cannot make a better bass drop) this album is top-notch techstep. Still one of my all time favourite albums and certainly one I would want stranded on a desert island.

A great album during what is widely recognised as a low point in time for dnb releases

Every track on this LP feels like it wants to give you a panic attack.

very hard to play, i used it to begin one hour mix,
one of the greatest dnb ever

I agree with the bad reviews on this. a bad review is not hating on the crew, just telling the truth that the curse of the 2nd album not comparing to the 1st, in musical history.

Crucifixation & Breathe salvage this album. Tumpa/Spacewalk, which was a teaser single that came out right before this, is also choice.
