Madonna – Bye Bye Baby

Reviewing every record in my collection;

This must be one of the best Maxi-single I own In general. Sound wise it's amazing; every detail shines through and the bass is heavy enough without overbearing the rest of the elements present in the remixes. Which, by the way are amazing, I'd say I'd have like a bit more of variety since they sound too much alike, but they are great remixes after all.

Plus I scored it for 20$ at a record fair, so I consider myself to be quite lucky since it's a bit rare

Track 8 (Tallahassee Pop) makes it's DIGITAL debut with this release.

Most Madonna fans I know, doesn't like her hip hop output. But I genuinely love her hip hop stuff!! Just like these remixes, especially NY Hip Hop Mix. But, if only this CD single could have included the remix that Madonna used for her VMA 93 and The Girlie Show Tour.

I suspected the remix was from Daniel Abrahams, the same guy who made the pleasant sounding Rain & the ultra cool Fever remixes. He listed his Bye Bye Baby remix as Unreleased on his website.

Excellent remixes - love these a zillion times, they are full of bass and real dance anthems - and unedited (yes has "that" word it in).

Awesome on Vinyl - sounds fantastic and looks beautiful too - one of my favourites in my collection

The three house mixes here are clearly inspired by 'Vogue' using various musical elements of that song. Personal favourite here is the 'Rick Does Madonna's Dub' which has more of a deep house groove than the more poppy house mix. The other Hip Hop mixes don't differ all that much from each other.
