This album is absolute candy to my ears, which is probably not a good thing given how loud this album is. Oh well. Part of me does wishes the tracklisting starts with the speedcore tracks first but that's okay. -

On the first track during the patsy cline sample, it also sounds like they also sampled the drum beat from "morning lemon" by The Chemical Brothers, however I am not sure about it so don't quote me

If I'm ever asked about what the most intense and violent record is (and I never am,) I'll point anyone to this record. Equal parts crushing and slamming, this is two people at war with sound itself.

Edited 17 years agoThere were plans to do a black vinyl repress a few years back, but the master plates were lost and apparently it would be too expensive to have them redone...much to the disappointment of every DJ everywhere (note: possible exaggeration in previous sentence). Definitely the greatest tragedy to befall the music world since the cancellation of "Back and in Attack."

I think this may well be the hardest album ever made by anyone, if listned to on a relatively low volume the beats are alot more distinguishable and you can familiarise yourself with the individual tracks but anything above a 5 on the vol control and you could be shattering windows, nice Bon jovi sample spliced in between some speedfrentikcore breaks though! -

This record is one of the most brutal assaults your ears will ever suffer. A real endurance test. With headphones on at high volume I usually feel sick by the fourth or fifth track. If that's not an endorsement i don't know what is! -
Patsy Cline has never sounded as good as she does on Cheatin' and I'm thrilled to see that Viva Las Vegas has been desecrated alongside a tribute to the seminal Canadian prime time drama The Beachcombers. Rumour has it that the orange vinyl is a tribute to the car made famous in ZZ Top videos, but don't quote me on that. In any case, this release features ten tracks of number crunching speedcore for the deranged created via an icq collaboration.

Truly an amazing record, on lush orange vinyl that, if eaten, would probably taste of Sunny Delight. Unborn Baby must be my fave on here, with some superb shouting from the Man Speedranch. It's sort of freestyle gabba, although I got shot down for saying that.
