"Mixed Up" (first published November 1990) compiles 1990 remixes of 'Close To Me', 'The Caterpillar', 'Inbetween Days' and remixes from 1990 re-recordings of 'A Forest' and 'The Walk'. Also included are previously released remixes of 'Lullaby', 'Fascination Street', 'Lovesong', 'Pictures Of You', 'Hot Hot Hot!!!' and 'Why Can't I Be You?'. (The latter was omitted from CD versions due to playtime limitations.)
Finally, there was one new song in its extended mix form: 'Never Enough', published as the 1st single heralding this album in September 1990.
A 2nd single 'limited edition CD variant included the extended mix of 'Why Can't I Be You?' that was omitted from the "Mixed Up" CD.
A 3-disc deluxe edition reissue was released as "Mixed Up + Extras: Remixes 1982-1990 + Torn Down" in 2018 featuring the original album remastered, a second disc of older remixes remastered ("Remixes 1982-1990"), and a disc of newly commissioned remixes ("Torn Down"). It was also available digitally under the original release's title, "Mixed Up".
Finally, there was one new song in its extended mix form: 'Never Enough', published as the 1st single heralding this album in September 1990.

I got my copy a few days ago in Turkey...
I listened to it critically because of the few negative comments here.(with 2 different cartridges, 2m blue and bronze)
I guess I'm a bit lucky because my copy doesn't have any problems that the previous reviewers have mentioned here. great dynamics and mixes..may be a little bit noise because of spinning without cleaning and static...i liked so much this record's sound... -
Picked up recently from the Rhino sale, sounds really awesome. Nice and clean and well balanced. -

A strangely good remaster. Robert Smith obviously killed this but with it being a picture disc I am surprised with how good my copy sounds.

The name to this collection is so clever! I love all the remixes but I am disappointed that Close To Me (closest mix) is not on it since I think that is the best mix. -

A great album that gives the well-known songs a fresh twist. The Cure often sound cold, but here they have a nice "warmth". Great Artwork. The sound is really good, the bass is punchy and the highs are crystal clear. Great dynamics and a nice stereo image. Not necessarily audiophile, but it's such a fun to listen to. -
About to return my second copy of this in a row - both copies had a severe mis-stamp on side B of disc 1, causing at least 10mm lateral movement of the stylus and very audible pitch wow.
Very disappointed as the discs with no mis-stamp sound great. Such is the pot luck of modern presses, unfortunately. -
Unfortunately, I am one of those vinylists who, once again, has received a bad pressing. In of sound, dynamics and balance, this is a good pressing and an excellent mix (I still have the CD from1990 for comparison). But there are already several loud plops on Lullaby, and the same with Fascination Street. Once again I have to send a disc back. Every 3rd disc is affected. I have no idea why people today have such a terrible work ethic and have acquired such a low quality ethos. Just like the motto, my mistakes today are tomorrow's unemployment. Because at some point I too will jump off the vinyl train and ride the digital express. And that's despite the fact that I've been listening to vinyl since the 70s, so I have quite a lot of experience when it comes to vinyl and pressing quality. As in almost all areas of life, people are sawing at the branch they are sitting on with a stubbornness that sometimes reminds me of old age. -
I am still waiting for mine to arrive I just had a quick question if anyone sees this before I figure it out for myself, is it 45rpm? This is one of my Holy Grails, I’m psyched for it to get here
