Such a fantastic album. I get that Roger Lima expressed concerns with the writing and recording. I also get that the lack of the usually well represented horn section is different. I think after the comercial success of Anthem they were trying a bit too hard to follow up with an equally mainstream and therefore comercially successful album. Regardless, In With The Out Crowd is fucking AMAZING!!!! I am super stoked to finally blast this shit on vinyl. Thanks LTJ. Keep the kick A$$ music comin boyz!

The front cover looks fine but the rear cover looks like it was taken with a Motorola Razr phone from 2006. The important part though, the vinyl sounds great. Glad I was able to pick this up for 50% off for the holiday sale LTJ had, otherwise I would have just picked up the grape variant for much cheaper. I still give it a 4/5, underrated LTJ album.

i haven’t spun this just yet, but holy shit the sleeve looks like a horrible bootleg — very grainy, and the tracks on the back are nearly illegible. looking forward to spinning this one regardless. i hope it sounds great given it costing nearly $50 shipped. 😬

update: sounds pretty alright. the vocals come off as a little… dirty? the inner groove distortion is really awful on the vox in particular. but everything else sounds just about flawless. i do get a few light crackles at times. i think it could just be static. for now, low 4/5.
