I’m curious if anyone has a copy with the barcode ending in 388? Mine ends in 371, as does the copy in the photos posted here.
-
I was hoping when they titled the album “Tell Me That It’s Over” they meant the overuse of that stupid distortion effect they used on a lot of songs the previous two albums. But no!!! Right out the gate with the first song they use the distortion again..uggh.
Good album (minus the distortion effect). Pressing is really good quality - zero surface noise on my copy. -
My copy is absolutely perfect! No surface noise or pops, and the color is gorgeous in person. My favorite of all the variants.
-
I wasn't sure what to expect, but this record sounds great. My copy has a "Made in Italy" sticker on the back - I've not seen that before. I guess record companies are getting their records pressed wherever they can find an opening.
-
Unfortunately, inner groove distortion is quite a problem on this release. It's really noticeable in the last two tracks on each side.
-
Again, terrible color pressing from UO. Of course, they've got the best prices for exclusive color vinyl, but almost 50% of their new color pressing sound just awful - scratches, rattling, skipping...
Just gimmicks... -
The packaging was not high quality( sorry to the last person that said otherwise. But it’s lackluster. Printed inner sleeves tend to scratch the record alot, i believe its a 140 gram so not that heavy but better than most releases. Vinyl was not warped and it was clean on both sides for me. Sounded phenomenal. Wish they put more into the packaging

Edited 3 years agoMy first comment here but man this vinyl is soooo pretty in person I'm so glad I got it! It sounds incredible too nothing like the digital. I think it may even sound better than the yellow? Nonetheless excellent release couldn't recommend more.

Solid pressing in of color and sound. This album is best experienced first on vinyl. Nice rich sound and the production is so exciting. There is a lot of layers in the songs but it’s all present and nothing is drowned out.

Edited 3 years agoI put the record on the platter and let it spin, I noticed that the outer grooves has some weird wavy-like warp in one small area. I didn't think much about it until I dropped the stylus on the record and it skipped so much during the first half of the song whenever the stylus ran thru the warped part. I cleaned it and put a record clamp but to no avail. So I returned it the next day and got a replacement sent to me shortly after. It still did the same thing on the first spin, but I let it go through the same parts of the song a few more times and it played just fine afterwards. Point is... buyer beware.
