If this were released as an 'Album' rather than under the title of EP then it may have created more of a reaction. The whole thing is outstanding & recently having bought the CD to replace the long sold vinyls I have had it on repeat. The convenience of listening to the tracks back to back without flipping makes this a great 40 min headphone zone out. A very rewarding and probably overlooked release that needs further attention. -

Like Oversteps, “first phase” AE fans will appreciate the Move of Ten EP as a celebrated return to the melodically ambient & beat driven rhythms derived from their 90s releases.
rew(1) is certainly a standout track for me which almost feels like a dub-driven techno track from Basic Channel. M62 is so classic Autechre that it literally could have been released on Amber.
While I do enjoy some of the more conceptual and arrhythmic releases that have come from Autechre of late, Move of Ten was a welcome retreat into the familiar soundscapes that originally put these guys on the map. -

I think this is the best piece by Autechre, and I am saying that after listening the art of duo for 10+ years. -

rew(1) is one of my favourite autechre tracks. Seems to be different every time i listen to it. Outstanding work! -

I thought I "got" it when I listened to it the first time, and I thought it was alright, but I was totally in love with Oversteps at the time. I thought of it as good, but not great. A couple of years later Etchogon-s came on randomly at just the right time, I wasn't even really listening to the music, struggling to stay awake. Then suddenly totally captivated, listening to the whole album almost like i'd never heard it before. Nowadays I like it more than Oversteps.
If you like this you'll probably love L-Event too (the web page destruction around release time was also awesome, can't where/how that was occuring though, really want to see it again now :/) -

Parts of it are fairly repetitive, but much of it is pretty groovy too. Sort of reminds me of ep7. Good stuff. -

I feel move of ten is rather unappreciated. Honestly at first I overlooked it slightly myself. But over the years I've found myself unconciously listening to it more and more, whether it be in the car or while at home in the background etc. It's essentially become one of my favourite EP's by Autechre. This album is very melodic. The true highlight is the textures of the album. The processing of the synths is truly wonderful and sounds rather classy/high end, they're all purely digital sounding yet they have warmth, weight and everything's glued together nicely. The FM leads sound almost rubbery. Some very neat sound design and processing has gone into this album.
Favourite tracks: iris was a pupil, no border, m62 (listening to these 3 tracks in a row makes this EP for me). -

The only Ep that i have by Autechre is this one, but that´s because this is my favourite Autechre EP. This released should have been included in "Oversteps" Album. "Move of Ten" sounds so Sci-fi that i fell instantly in love with it, when listening to it i feel like each track is giving me new experiences in Alien Planets. My favourite tracks are :"Y7","nth Dafuseder.b", "iris was a pupil" and "no border". This Release can be a perfect soundtrack for a sci-fi VideoGame. highly recomended to every electronic music lovers. -

Just noticed different spelling of track 4 from Move Of Ten:
"rew(1)" - Vinyl and mp3
"rew (1)" - CD
"Rew1" - wav 24b and 16b
