A fine compilation from Transmat Records.
I could go as far as to say the best one yet!
This compilation truly keeps the Detroit words ringing true..."Dream the dreams of Dreamers"..Fine works from Aril Brikha, new additions Sans Soleil, Rodenbush,Yellow Planet etc. For beginners to the Detroit sound, one fine example you must attain.
For the proverbial Knights, another fine addition to the collection. A great selection of Techno in all its various forms are laid down here & great productions. Check Microworld 'DB' a classic, along with Ebb 'Someone So True', Sans Soleil 'Streched Blue Oval' just some of the greats. Stretching the Detroit aesthetic. Keeping the dreams alive. Cyber-Fibre.

Wow, what can I say? I've been after this for a while and managed to get hold of a copy a few days ago.

This is one of the best compilations I've heard in a long time. The emphasis is on warm, hypnotic and utterly beguiling grooves which reveal themselves further with repeated listening. There's the odd diversion into breaks, downtempo and Brazilian styles too. I cannot emphasise the quality of the material on this compilation enough.

Favourites for me would be hard to pick but the tracks by Louis Haiman, Sans Soleil, Yellow Planet, Microworld and Rodenbush are highlights.

I don't know why this compilation is a Japan-only release. If Transmat have got any sense then they will make it more widely available by releasing it in Europe and the US.

Quite simply, if you're an electronic music fan, you need this disc.
